Service & food was excellent with the exception of the 2nd serving of bread that was burnt. Recently moved to the area so we did an internet search for an Italian restaurant. The prices were on the higher side for being located in a strip mall. Wife and I enjoyed our shared Ceasar salad & entrees. We took off 1 star for the burnt bread which we felt was a shame to have been served.

Delicious and authentic, by far one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. This hidden gem won’t disappoint your taste buds . Quality ingredients with amazing flavor. The Mushroom Riscotto with truffle oil was worth the 30 minute drive from NSB! Thank you to the Chef and staff, we will be back with our family and friends :)

Hidden Gem!This is, without question, far and above one of the very few fine dining experiences you will encounter in Volusia County. A superb place to celebrate special occasions. The atmosphere is elegant. The food is magnificent! There was an appetizer special, escargot, to die for! My wife is a very finicky eater. The chef/owner was accommodating to a fault. He prepared chicken francaise for her, which was not even on the menu. And, as she does not care for vegetables, she was able to substitute them for oven roasted potatoes.We were blown away by the high quality of service. From the moment we sat down, throughout the meal and throughout the entire evening we were treated like royalty. Thank you, L’Angolo for this EXCEPTIONAL experience!

I love dining out and having an enjoyable evening with great service, amazing food and relaxing atmosphere and L'Angolo's did not disappoint. Everything was spot on. There were too many entrees that I wanted to try so I will be back but please don't leave without ordering the Tiramisu. Thank you Sal and Anna; it was a memorable evening.

We didn't realize we needed a reservation so it was a good thing we called to see if they were open! We started off with scallops wrapped in bacon. Great choices on the menu. I got a special with veal, ricotta and prosciutto in a mushroom sauce. Absolutely delicious

If I could give zero stars I would! My husband and I pull up an hour before closing. They watch and start bring their patio furniture in and locked the door. Terrible service obviously

Update: their quality, flavor & presentation has gone down considerably. We had average experiences on 3 consecutive visits. Now we don't go back. WHAT A GREAT FIND! This place is fantastic, the pouch pasta with gorgonzola sauce was divine, and my wife said the penne arriabiata was just right! My new favorite for many miles around. Anna and Sal are delightful hosts. Beautiful decor.

The best, most authentic Italian food in the area. Expensive, but worth it. The calamari and snapper Francese are my favorites : )

This restaurant will always have a special place in my heart. Not only because every dish we ordered was amazing but also because the chef and staff made us feel like family. We were a large party of 11+ celebrating Fathers Day, Birthdays and an engagement. With so much to celebrate we spent the night eating delicious authentic Italian food, sharing stories and creating memories.

Best Italian food outside of Italy. And great service

12-14 tables perfect size restaurant for made to order food. If you have ever been to Italy and had the real deal, you will understand what I am saying. This is not your run of the mill American-Italian restaurant. The Specials are in fact Italian Specials. The Servers are quite knowledgably, professional and efficient. A must try and yes they are booked out so be sure to make a reservation you will not regret it I promise!

Cute decor and atmosphere for a restaurant in a strip mall. They are on end of building and have windows on 2 sides so you don't feel like you're in a box like other strip mall restaurants. Food was only average. Osso Buco was quality cut of meat but horrible sauce poured over it, tasted like cheap pizza sauce and risotto was like soup in the horrible sauce. My wife had seafood pasta and it was B grade at best. Service was excellent. Food and wines were way overpriced for quality. Wine selection was horrible and cooking fee is $25. Not worth it to us to go back.

One of the Premier restaurants in the area reflecting high quality and seasonally varied cuisine. The ambiance is good though the premises are comparatively small so booking is essential. Prices are top end for the area but I don't mind that if the experience reflects that. My seafood special was superb last night and the staff first class as usual.

I mean fabulous food, service, everything! Best Italian I have ever had.

What started out as a wonderful meal ended as a bad dining experience due to the arrogance of the chef/owner. The ambience, food quality, wait staff and the owner's wife/hostess make this a can't miss fine dining destination. However, when a mistake is made in the kitchen, the staff doesn't advise or apologize but instead the owner comes to the table to defend the error. His apology is condescending as he places before you a completely different entry than what was ordered. And then he charges you for it without extending to discount or comp (I still would have paid for it but its the principle). He doesn't even offer a drink on the house or pastry in good faith. Disappointedly, the server and hostess never returned to the table and the check was delivered by another staff member. Perhaps, they fear repercussion from an oppressive owner. My phone message to the restaurant a few days later was not returned.

Disappointing. Veal chops were bad. Eggplant rollatini was ordinary at best. So noisy we could not hear each other and the wait staff could not hear us and made mistakes on our orders. Not going back.

This is a great place with great service. First time I came here I walked into the place and was unaware of the reservation only. They still sat me and served me ... Very friendly people plan to go back once Everytime I'm in town. And plan to come back when I no longer need to just to go here and eat one night.

I ordered the special shrimp scallops and lobster linguine and there wasn’t a single scallop in it!

Food was fresh and cooked to order. Staff was attentive but not obtrusive. Great menu and specials. Most pasta is made in house, be sure to ask for the fresh pasta with your order. Reservations are required - when we left, there was a note on the door that unless patrons already had reservations, they were booked for the night. We had calamari as an appetizer - not fried and very good in a marina sauce.Veal marsala didn't need a fork to cut. Lobster and shrimp Fra Diablo was spicy but not firey and very good. Clams in olive oil and garlic over pasta delicious - lots of fresh clams (in the shell). Salmon in a tomato sauce was also done perfectly. Ordered chocolate lava cake for dessert. No liquor sold but beer and wine. Decent wine list. Only 12 tables. We will be back.

L'Angolo is definitely our favorite local restaurant. Sal & Anna make you feel like family while offering a first class fine dining experience. Perfect for a celebration [we had a big family graduation here] or a romantic dinner for 2 and I'm not going to lie we don't need an occasion to go here, it is an occasion just to go :)

celebrated our 20th anniversary last night and we couldn't have been happier about the meal, the service or the atmosphere. It is so nice to have such an authentic Italian restaurant available in Ormond Beach with such impeccable service. Congrat's to Sal, Anna & the entire staff
